Johannesburg Metro Police  Diepsloot Department  Gives back to the community

According to Mr Mokgonyane ( One of JMPD Staff in Diepsloot), Johannesburg Metro Police department  identified learners who didn’t have school shoes  while in duty assisting learners to cross the road in the morning and also requested assistance from their teachers. They realised most learners went to school very early in the morning and their shoes were not in a very good condition. As members of the community and parents, they decided to to contribute R100 each from their own pocket to buy school shoes for disadvantaged learners. They managed to contribute R3000.00 and 14 shoes where donated to 14 learners in Riversent Primary School and others to learners in Thembisa.
